Our home in Hong Kong is Lantau Island. Lantau is called Hong Kong's lung, since it is mostly green and undeveloped, and its forests produce a lot of oxygen for Hong Kong. Of course the Discovery Bay development, with its high rise aprtments and condos, and on the North side, the airport and town of Tung Chung, and now, the building of Disneyland on Lantau, are exceptions to Lantau's "undeveloped status", still there are many quiet places on Lantau and we love to hike around on its hills and through its villages.
